• Perform quality control tasks on assigned projects or accounts, ensuring high-quality translations and adherence to client specifications.
• Conduct on-demand translation tasks, leveraging expertise in French Canadian linguistics to deliver accurate and culturally relevant content.
• Collaborate with clients on linguistic matters, providing expert guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Develop and train new and existing freelancers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
• Participate in the development of new and improved working processes, driving innovation and efficiency within the organization.

• University degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in the translation and localization industry.
• Fluent in French Canadian (native level), both written and spoken, and fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent feel for language (source/target) and knowledge of terminology in IT consumer products, social media, and entertainment.
• Thorough understanding of the localization process and ability to effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and translators.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
