Position Overview

PENSUM Bremen GmbH is seeking a dedicated Specialist in International Corporate Communication (m/f/d) to enhance our external communication strategies and promote academic topics on a global scale. This role is situated within a collaborative Corporate Communications team, operating in a dynamic international setting. The position is structured as a full-time role with a duration of two years, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote university initiatives and facilitate the communication of scientific research across various media platforms, both regionally and internationally.
  • Craft compelling content for external communications, including press releases, interviews, and briefings.
  • Organize and manage press events and engagements.
  • Facilitate communication and moderation during events.
  • Oversee the coordination of external partners, including monitoring services, editing, agencies, photographers, and video production.
  • Prepare cost estimates and manage budget planning for communication projects.
  • Occasionally represent colleagues in internal communication efforts.
Candidate Profile
  • A degree in natural sciences, humanities, communication studies, or journalism, or a relevant vocational training.
  • Experience in public relations, editorial work, event communication, content creation, or corporate communications.
  • Proficiency in English and German, with additional language skills being advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, particularly in diverse international environments, coupled with strong teamwork and service orientation.
  • A structured and self-directed work approach, complemented by strong conceptual thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
