We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Professional to join our team as a Group Accountant. As a key member of our Accounting and Tax department, you will be responsible for coordinating, preparing, and reviewing financial statements and reports.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Responsible for the preparation of our business reports
- Conduct consolidation of the German subsidiary
- Regularly conduct value tests to verify the actual value of our investments and assets
- Monitor the correct implementation of relevant accounting guidelines
- Coordinate with auditors: You will act as a liaison to our auditors and ensure smooth communication and collaboration
- Independent handling of fundamental accounting questions
- Active participation in (M&A) projects
- Continuous development of accounting tools
- Completed business or economics degree with a focus on accounting or successfully completed training as a certified accountant
- Several years of experience in business accounting or auditing
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles under HGB and IFRS
- Good communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English to communicate with our Dutch parent company
