DB Netz AG is seeking a Signal Technician (m/f/d) in Magdeburg. You will embark on a career path as a specialist in signaling and safety technology, progressing through various stages to become a proficient Signal Mechanic.

• Your role will involve the inspection, maintenance, and servicing of diverse systems within the signaling and safety technology sector.
• The primary focus will be on electronic components, including signals, switches, and signal boxes, while also gaining knowledge of mechanical elements.
• You will predominantly work collaboratively within a team, executing tasks in your designated area with independence and reliability.
• Outdoor work will be a significant aspect of your responsibilities, maintaining electrical installations and addressing faults in track systems.
• Your workday will commence and conclude at a central location where you will gather all necessary materials, advanced equipment, tools, and the vehicle.

Qualifications:

• A successful completion of training in electrical engineering fields such as Electrician, Mechatronics Technician, Electrical Specialist, or Automation Technician is required.
• After comprehensive training, a willingness to engage in rotating on-call duties is expected.
• Comfort with outdoor working conditions is essential.
• A demonstrated commitment and eagerness to learn for internal qualification is necessary.
• Your work should exemplify independence, reliability, flexibility, and strong teamwork abilities.
• A valid Class B driver's license is mandatory.
