Job Title: System Technology Consultant

The company Netze BW GmbH is seeking a highly skilled System Technology Consultant to join their team. This position involves the administration, management, and maintenance of process control systems, ensuring IT security and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering, managing, and maintaining the process control system to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Designing, planning, and managing user functions and IT systems to meet business needs.
  • Ensuring the IT security of the process control system and documenting processes to maintain compliance.
  • Participating in the operation and expansion of the information security management system to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Analyzing and evaluating vulnerability reports and alarms from SIEM and monitoring systems to ensure prompt action.
  • Developing and automating processes in the gas industry to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintaining and coordinating interfaces for efficient collaboration between teams and departments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completed studies in an IT-related field, such as IT Management or Business Informatics.
  • Experience in process control system administration and IT security.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security principles and practices.
  • Calm and composed demeanor in stressful situations, with a proactive work style.
  • Independent work method and a keen interest in energy supply, particularly in the gas sector.

Security Clearance:

This position involves working in a security-sensitive role within the critical infrastructure. As part of the recruitment process, a verification of identification and the original document of your highest educational qualification will be required during an interview. A security declaration as per the Security Screening Act and submission of a police clearance certificate (for personal use) will be necessary upon contract signing. The candidate must be in agreement with these requirements.
