Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team in our headquarters at the Bremer Kreuz. As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of the Wareneingang, Retoure, and Werksverkehr departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational management of the Wareneingang, Retoure, and Werksverkehr departments
  • Leadership and development of the team members in the department
  • Coordination and optimization of inbound shipments from nearby production and operational sites
  • Development and implementation of a digital key performance indicator (KPI) system to enable data-driven process management
  • Communication with internal stakeholders such as Customer Service, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Shipping
  • Coordination with external service providers and logistics equipment suppliers
Requirements
  • Completed vocational training in logistics or a related field
  • Experience in leadership and management roles in logistics
  • Digital affinity and knowledge of Lean Management principles
  • Hands-on mentality and proximity to the warehouse operations
  • Strong communication and argumentation skills
  • Interest in implementing automated and digitalized processes
  • Strong process and system understanding
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (ideally SAP WM/EWM) and MS Office
