Your Responsibilities:
Situated at the SAP Labs Munich headquarters, the BTP Innovation team integrates into the Munich ecosystem to collaborate with local academic institutions, clients, and the entrepreneurial community. As a Data Intelligence Engineer (f/m/d), you will be part of a dynamic and agile team tasked with investigating the future of data and analytics for SAP by developing innovative solutions in partnership with our product units and clients. You will facilitate knowledge sharing across teams, identify early-stage technologies, and assist in transforming new concepts and ideas into assessed, functional software prototypes that deliver significant impact. Your strong engineering mindset and commitment to addressing real customer challenges will contribute to our team's success in providing relevant insights and technologies that demonstrate tangible business value for both SAP and our clients.
Your Qualifications:
- A university degree, Master's degree, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, or related disciplines, ideally with a concentration on data analysis, cloud technologies, or business intelligence.
- A proven history of applying research and emerging software technologies to practical use cases.
- Strong programming expertise in at least one programming language and relevant experience in software development projects, preferably in the aforementioned fields.
- Goal-oriented, proactive, and prepared to work in an agile environment with short project cycles.
- Excellent communication skills in English (German language skills are an advantage).
We seek professionals with a minimum of 2 years of experience, ideally with a background in one of the specified fields.
