Join our team in the Data Engineering BI MB Bank department, where we collaborate closely with partner teams and IT to deliver comprehensive processes, data analyses, and reports for banking supervision and internal management.

During your internship, you will engage in the following activities:

  • Inventory of available reports in SAP BO and housekeeping activities in collaboration with system managers and our customers.
  • Implementation of internal controls (ICS) regarding data provision, which are essential for regulatory reports.
  • Analysis of identified deviations, documenting necessary adjustments, and communicating these to the IT department.
  • Conducting, evaluating, and documenting technical tests in MB-Bank's systems to ensure stability after software changes.
  • Creating new documentation and ensuring existing documentation is current.

What you will learn:

By the end of your internship, you will have gained foundational knowledge of SAP-BW and SAP-BO systems, along with experience in reporting. You will develop skills in problem recognition, understanding correlations, and devising solutions. Terms like "ICS" and "software testing" will become familiar to you, and you will gain insights into the BI activities within a banking context. Additionally, you will enhance your interpersonal skills and learn the importance of teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in information technology, business informatics, data science, application management, software engineering, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
  • Quick learner with a sense of personal responsibility.
  • Strong commitment and dedication.
  • Analytical thinking and a structured approach to work.
  • Affinity for numbers and data.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to technical systems/applications (e.g., SAP) and a willingness to work with IT applications.
