We are seeking a highly skilled Biorepository Technician to join our team based in Berlin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain freezer inventory
- Receive and process biological samples
- Manage frozen biological sample inventory
- Retrieve frozen samples from inventory
- Conduct annual competency assessments for repository staff
- Label and prepare vials and shipping boxes
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with IATA shipping regulations
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess a high degree of accuracy and quality in laboratory-related activities, including cryopreservation of biological samples. They will be a flexible team player who can adapt quickly to changing priorities and respond to repository needs. Relevant experience includes working in logistics within the clinical industry, inventory systems, and biological background, as well as experience with equipment.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Germany without sponsorship and possess effective communication skills in English.
