The Opportunity: Electrical Engineering Dual Study Program

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our 3-year Dual Study Program, leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering. This program offers a unique blend of theoretical learning at DHBW Mannheim and practical experience within DB InfraGO AG's dynamic environment.

What You Will Learn

  • Develop a strong foundation in engineering principles, mathematics, physics, and computer science.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of circuit technology, programming, and system control.
  • Acquire essential business management and technical management skills.
  • Enhance your interdisciplinary thinking, project management, and presentation abilities.

Practical Experience

During your practical phases at DB InfraGO AG, you will:

  • Work on projects related to electrical engineering, data communications, signal technology, and electrical switchgear.
  • Conduct variant studies, measurements, evaluations, fault analyses, and develop prevention programs for operational maintenance.
  • Engage in office tasks and practical assignments within electrical systems.
  • Contribute to various projects that drive innovation within the rail industry.

Your Profile

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have successfully completed their high school diploma or hold an equivalent professional qualification recognized by DHBW Mannheim (technical college students must pass the university's aptitude test before commencing studies).
  • Excel in mathematics and physics.
  • Possess a passion for technical systems and enjoy working with electronic devices.
  • Are excellent communicators and thrive in collaborative environments.
  • Demonstrate strong goal-orientation and independent work ethic.
