Application Integration Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Software Integration Specialist to enhance our application integration capabilities. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to streamline development processes and ensure effective integration of applications within our IT framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and engage with customer development workflows alongside relevant teams.
- Design and implement solutions for optimal application integration.
- Oversee the technical integration of applications into the IT infrastructure, supporting Application Lifecycle Management.
- Collaborate with diverse departments to facilitate seamless integrations.
- Integrate applications with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Gitlab, and Jenkins.
- Develop and deploy interfaces aimed at process automation.
- Customize and configure the ALM system landscape to meet specific needs.
- Identify and resolve issues, optimizing application integration continuously.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in complex development settings, particularly in Automotive or Medical Engineering.
- Proficient in software development and integration with tools like Jira, Trello, Gitlab, Jenkins, and Selenium.
- Strong understanding of REST interfaces and API connectivity.
- Programming skills in Java, Javascript/Typescript, and Python.
- Customer-focused team player with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, willing to travel as needed.
- Effective communication skills in both German and English.
