We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at Krankenhaus Bietigheim. As a Medical Assistant for the Internal Function Department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our medical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and counseling before, during, and after treatment, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction and comfort.
- Assist with routine examinations, treatments, and emergencies, demonstrating a strong ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Prepare endoscopes and equipment for procedures, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
- Establish intravenous access for sedation, monitor sedation levels, and assist with sedation according to established guidelines, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection regulations.
- Perform hygiene measures and maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical professionals, nurses, and other healthcare staff, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Be available for on-call duty, Monday through Sunday, to provide emergency support and coverage.
- Support medical colleagues in sonography procedures, demonstrating a strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively.
- Perform tasks related to EKG, including Holter monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, stress testing, and pacemaker checks, ensuring accurate and timely results.
Requirements
- Completed training as a Health and Nursing Professional or Medical Assistant.
- Relevant work experience and good professional qualifications.
- Strong professional and social skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and medical professionals.
- Independent and responsible work ethic, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Organizational skills, flexibility, and teamwork, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Proof of complete measles vaccination or immunity, adhering to public health regulations.
