Position: SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant

Salzgitter Digital Solutions GmbH serves as the primary IT service provider for the Salzgitter Group, delivering a managed, innovative, secure, and standardized IT framework globally for all subsidiaries and personnel. We are committed to evolving and supporting business needs as a partner in digital transformation.

We are seeking an Inhouse Consultant for SAP Plant Maintenance (m/f/d) to become a part of the 'Maintenance and Production Planning' team within the 'Applications Material Logistics and Production Security' division at our organization.

This position entails assessing requirements, designing and implementing solutions, configuring SAP systems, overseeing existing and developing new mobile applications for maintenance, and actively engaging in S/4 HANA initiatives across the group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate requirements, devise solutions, and manage maintenance processes for our corporate clientele utilizing SAP PM.
  • Configure SAP systems, supplementary solutions, and workflow processes.
  • Develop and sustain mobile applications tailored for maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee the integration, testing, and commissioning of implementations.
  • Engage in S/4 HANA projects and potentially lead segments of these projects.
Candidate Profile
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related discipline with substantial experience in SAP, particularly in PM and EH&S modules.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language; familiarity with SAP ABAP/4, SAP Fiori, or Adobe Forms is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently.
  • Fluent in German and possess good command of the English language.
