About the Role

Solactive AG is a leading FinTech company operating globally, with a strong presence in the financial industry. We are seeking an experienced **Senior Quality Assurance Engineer** to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy to ensure the highest quality of our products and software.
  • Work closely with our engineering managers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure overall quality and meet business objectives.
  • Implement automation testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and reduce testing time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement QA standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to a culture of curiosity, learning, and knowledge sharing within the QA team and across all engineering teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, specializing in automation testing.
  • Proven track record of constructing automation frameworks and test suites from scratch within an agile environment.
  • Experience in setting up environments for functional and integration tests and seamlessly integrating them into day-to-day development.
  • Broad hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Postman, etc.
  • Good knowledge of SQL with relevant working experience with RDBMS (Postgres, MariaDB).
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Proficiency with version control systems (we utilize GitLab), continuous integration tools (GitLab CI), continuous delivery (ArgoCD), and task management tools (Jira).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and instigate change in a dynamic environment managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Detail-oriented, capable of assessing the product as a whole and identifying potential corner cases and bottlenecks.
