Mathematics Educator

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Mathematics teacher to join our team of educators at secondary schools across Saxony-Anhalt. As a Mathematics teacher, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and post-processing of mathematics classes, creating a curriculum in collaboration with other teachers and school management, documenting and preparing student learning progress, correcting and grading oral and written student work, and providing pedagogical support to students in their daily learning.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging mathematics lesson plans for students in secondary schools
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of all students
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in mathematics education
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
- Successful completion of studies with teaching qualifications or pedagogical background from both domestic and foreign universities, colleges, or equivalent institutions, with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma degree
- Specialization in subjects from the curriculum taught at general German state schools, including but not limited to German, Mathematics (Natural Sciences), and English
- Very good German language skills (at least B2 level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference)
- Sense of responsibility and enjoyment in pedagogical work with children, adolescents, and young adults
- Access to the public service of the state of Saxony-Anhalt with stable working conditions and very good earning opportunities
- Good prospects and development opportunities for the coming years
- High appreciation and gratitude due to the urgent need for teachers in the region
- Intensive onboarding with mentoring from the faculty and further training opportunities
