About the Role

Cognito is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Senior Digital Marketing Consultant to join our Düsseldorf team. The ideal candidate will have both a strategic and hands-on approach, be able to work quickly and methodically, and have in-depth knowledge of all digital and social media channels and how to utilize them successfully in a B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to support business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and delivering measurable results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement PR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on the best digital media approach to reach their goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth.
  • Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals, providing guidance on strategy, execution, and professional development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience, with 2 years operating at Director level in digital marketing roles, ideally within the B2B space in Germany.
  • Proven track record of successful campaign management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (native) and English.
  • Excellent attention to detail, and organisation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and client management.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and think strategically and execute quality output under tight deadlines.
  • Sound judgement and ability to make decisions in uncertain situations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively when addressed with complex issues.
