As a Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of mission-critical software in digital transformation projects, acting as a bridge between users in business departments and the development team. You will take pleasure in onboarding new team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze quality risks associated with software systems.
  • Clarify and address ambiguous or missing requirements using requirements engineering methods to establish a solid testing foundation for upcoming test phases.
  • Create and execute test cases to achieve defined coverage of software requirements.
  • Document perceived discrepancies and track them closely with the development team until resolution.
  • Advise various stakeholders on software quality and testing measures, while coordinating small teams of specialized testers.
  • Contribute significantly to the planning and management of testing tasks through estimations and status reports.

Your Skills - What You Bring

  • A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • At least two years of practical experience in software testing within IT projects.
  • Hands-on knowledge of methodologies and practices in software testing.
  • Fluent German language skills (minimum C1 level) and good English language skills (minimum B2 level).
  • Willingness to travel for project-related purposes within the country.
