Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate / Retail Specialist (m/w/d) to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including flowers, plants, and decorative items.
- Contribute to the visual merchandising of the store, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging shopping environment.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a consistent and appealing store image.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Previous retail experience, preferably in the flower and plant industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
