Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at TeamViewer, you will be part of an Agile Engineering Team and work independently on projects, getting supported by experienced software developers. Your focus will be on testing activities, working with epics, user-stories, and bugs.

Key Tasks:
  • Maintain and evolve test-codes, working on manually and/or exploratory testing.
  • Work with builds and tests in a Continuous Integration environment (Jenkins) to keep the build green.
  • Develop and extend test tools based on C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python.
  • Support the further development of new features and work on reproducing errors, analyzing, and narrowing down causes of errors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Enrolled student at a university or college in the field of computer science, IT, software engineering, or any other related field.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages such as German are a plus.
  • Theoretical knowledge in the field of Automated Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
  • Knowledge of C# programming language.
  • Curiosity about learning perspectives and ability to identify and highlight areas of need.
  • High sense of responsibility paired with strong social and communication skills as well as the ability to work within a team and/or independently.
