At GULP – experts united, we are seeking a skilled Measurement Technician to join our team in Nuremberg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the test bench measurement technology, including exhaust gas measurement technology, in our state-of-the-art test field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the test bench measurement technology, including exhaust gas measurement technology, in the Nuremberg test field.
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and calibration, as well as all necessary homologation-relevant tests on test bench measurement technology.
  • Support the planning of measuring equipment.
  • Handle the measurement technology and set it up on the test bench as required.
  • Act as the technical contact person for test bench measurement technology for the specialist departments and test bench operators.
  • Document the activities carried out.

Requirements:

  • Completed training as a mechanic/mechatronics engineer/electrician.
  • Professional experience in the field of engine development or engine testing.
  • Several years of experience in the field of test bench measurement technology.
  • Experience with AMA i60 / i60 SII / MEXA 7500 exhaust gas measuring systems.
  • Experience with Versa FAS05 / Versa 06 FTIR measuring systems.
  • Knowledge of particle measurement technology, such as AVL Micro Soot Sensor and AVL SPC 478.
  • Enthusiasm for engine technology and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Independent, structured, and service-oriented work style, combined with the ability to work in a team and quick comprehension skills.
  • High customer orientation, strong communication and social skills, and good written and spoken English skills.
