Construction Project Manager - Onshore Renewable Energy

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and drive onshore renewable projects. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in civil engineering and a proven track record in managing onshore utility scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction for onshore renewable projects, including road and foundation construction, cable installation, and assembly of wind turbines.
  • Create comprehensive project schedules and maintain thorough project/construction documentation.
  • Ensure high standards of quality and handle claims management effectively.
  • Review and approve invoices from contractors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Obtain necessary authorisations for road, watercourse, and pipeline crossings, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Provide on-site supervision and advisory services to ensure projects are executed as planned.
  • Maintain strong relationships with national and international partners and clients, facilitating smooth project execution.
Requirements:
  • Experience in managing civil construction projects within the renewable industry (Onshore).
  • Expertise in foundation engineering, soil mechanics, and reinforced concrete construction.
  • Familiarity with geosynthetics in road/path construction is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, ORCA-AVA, and CAD software.
  • Proficiency in English and German (C1) is required.
  • Must be willing to travel as required and able to work from a home office.
