We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's financial future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements in accordance with German GAAP standards
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure compliance
  • Manage tax filings and insurance matters, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Oversee grant applications and ensure successful outcomes
  • Implement and maintain computerized cost accounting systems
  • Lead inventory management and cash flow control initiatives
  • Develop and submit statistical reports to senior management
  • Review project finances and evaluations, providing insightful recommendations
  • Supervise a small team of accounting professionals
  • Report to senior management, providing regular updates on financial performance
Required Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
  • Several years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a similar industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
