Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to lead our lab kitchen, where our innovative food products come to life. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring consistent output and product quality, leading and motivating the production team, and implementing food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of the lab kitchen's daily production, ensuring consistent output and product quality.
- Lead and motivate the production team, fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and quality.
- Implement and enforce food safety standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and certifications.
- Optimize production workflows, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring all ingredients and supplies are available for daily production while managing costs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align production with broader company goals and product launches.
- Proven experience in a production role within the food industry, ideally in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage teams, schedules, and resources in a dynamic environment.
- Deep understanding of food safety and quality control standards, and experience enforcing these in a production setting.
- Data-driven mindset, comfortable using production data to optimize processes and make informed decisions.
- Experience managing inventory and supply chains, with a focus on minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, solution-oriented, and always looking for ways to improve production processes.
- Fluent in German and English.
