Chery Europe GmbH is a leading European auto company and an international brand whose business covers more than 80 countries and regions.
We are looking for a skilled HMI Engineer to join our Engineering Center in Raunheim, near Frankfurt.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring Chery vehicles in Europe are easy to use and intuitive, with all necessary and relevant features regarding HMI for a successful Europe market entry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define Unique Selling Points in the area of User interface to support the defined market position of Chery vehicles in Europe
- Run detailed benchmark of HMI of competing models/brands in Europe
- Support HMI team in E/E with a user-centric approach
- Monitor latest upcoming development trends and technological requirements in the field of HMI
- Closely collaborate with development teams in our R&D centers in Wuhu & Shanghai (China) and the Europe market related subsidiaries (Marketing, Sales, Quality) from the technical and commercial perspective
Requirements:
- Hold a Degree in Electronic Engineering or comparable
- Have significant (>3 years) experience in a similar position for HMI at a Tier 1 or OEM
- Be able to lead engineering teams to achieve an intuitive user experience
- Have a detailed understanding of Human perception
- Be willing to travel and have a valid European driving license
- Be willing to work in an international and intercultural environment
- Have a pro-active and self-motivated attitude
- Be a good communicator with an open and structured mindset
- Have good computer and presentation skills (MS Office, etc.)
- Be fluent in English, Mandarin skills advantageous
