Capex Construction Project Manager

Job Summary:

Optimus Life Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Capex Construction Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading complex construction projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Create detailed project plans, including engineering, design, construction, commissioning, and qualification phases.
    • Schedule tasks to meet project objectives on time, ensuring timely completion and delivery.
  • Project Governance and Risk Management:
    • Define project scope and deliverables in collaboration with the project sponsor and E2E Lead.
    • Establish governance structures and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Team Management and Development:
    • Form and lead a high-performing project team, defining roles and responsibilities.
    • Provide coaching and performance management to ensure team effectiveness and success.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management:
    • Maintain open and transparent communication with the project team, stakeholders, and senior management.
    • Act as a mediator and provide support in case of issues or conflicts.
  • Reporting and Monitoring:
    • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to stakeholders.
    • Monitor project status, identifying and addressing potential issues early to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading complex construction projects, with a strong background in Capex and GMP environments.
  • Excellent project planning, execution, and governance skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
