Product Quality Development Internship in Complete Vehicle Team

Position Overview: The internship in the Product Quality Development team at Mercedes-Benz offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the automotive engineering field. This role is designed for students eager to explore the intricacies of vehicle development processes and contribute to ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently assess customer feedback from quality evaluations and analyze insights from workshops.
- Facilitate regular quality committees across divisions, engaging with various departments to ensure comprehensive discussions and documentation of outcomes.
- Conduct audits on production vehicles and returned leases, evaluate findings, and present results in relevant quality meetings.
- Collaborate closely with team members to learn about various quality methodologies and gain practical experience in their application.
- Assist the project manager in app development initiatives, participating actively in project work.
- Prepare for and engage in project-related and cross-departmental coordination meetings and workshops.
- Manage specific task packages and present progress in project discussions.
- Contribute to the preparation of documentation for various management levels and track project status.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
- Strong skills in MS Office applications.
- Preferably possess practical experience in automotive engineering, quality management, or software development.
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to understand complex systems, characterized by analytical and strategic thinking.
