Business Solutions Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Solutions Lead to join our Digital Services & Operations Unit at Welthungerhilfe. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our digital transformation and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our business processes.
Your Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of Application Managers responsible for our core business applications, including SAP and Salesforce.
- Oversee the operation of business-critical applications in Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Human Resources, and Project Portfolio Management.
- Take on the technical management of organisation-wide digital transformation and migration projects, ensuring the development of a future-proof application architecture.
- Act as the first point of contact for IT and process consultants, involving other experts as needed to ensure coordinated solutions.
- Contribute to the achievement of overarching business-critical goals as a member of the transformation project steering and core teams.
- Identify and realise potential for optimisation and consolidation of applications and systems introduced.
- Support external service providers and consultants, taking on technical coordination.
- Master's or diploma degree in a relevant field, such as business computer science, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
- Relevant experience in handling complex IT projects, with a strong understanding of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, HR, BI) and the SAP authorisation system.
- Experience in the SAP S/4 HANA environment and ability to migrate an SAP system.
- Sound business expertise and ability to understand complex and abstract relationships in IT and organisational systems.
- Knowledge of agile methods and enthusiasm for digital change.
- Ability to work with different people and teams, with a flexible and independent working style.
- Certification in process optimisation methods (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) is a desirable addition to your portfolio.
- Confidence with Office 365 and a good command of written and spoken English, with German language skills an advantage.
