About the Role

Munich Re is seeking a highly skilled SAP System Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our global support team, you will play a critical role in providing expert support and oversight for our SAP FPSL system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide global support and oversight for SAP FPSL system, ensuring consistent usage and optimal performance.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration and implementation of feature and change requests.
  • Coordinate system requirements process, including testing activities, to ensure correct and timely implementation.
  • Support quality assurance activities by developing and implementing reporting functionalities and performing technical validation checks.
  • Represent Munich Re in alignment meetings with central valuation and reporting teams.
  • Participate in cross-divisional and group-wide projects and working groups.
  • Conduct internal and external training on system-related accounting and closing topics.
Requirements
  • Degree in computer science, business administration, or insurance business administration.
  • Several years of relevant experience in system administration or accounting.
  • Expert knowledge of SAP accounting systems, including SAP FPSL, GT, and ECON, as well as Business Warehouse Solutions.
  • Ability to learn new system applications and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a willingness to tackle complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work diplomatically and constructively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Very good planning and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent command of English language.
