About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Negotiation Lead to join our team at ZEISS Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of strategic negotiations, driving business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement negotiation strategies to achieve business objectives, including preparation of goals, strategy, options, and arguments.
- Accompany the entire negotiation process from situation analysis to post-mortem analysis, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Take ownership as lead negotiator for complex negotiations, coordinating with external parties as needed.
- Define, advance, and train the organization on negotiation methods and tools to ensure structured and professional negotiation practices.
Requirements
- Master's degree in business administration, macroeconomics, mathematics, or computer science, with a focus on negotiations (e.g., game-theory, auction-theory).
- At least 10 years of professional experience in preparing and conducting negotiations for complex strategic and high-volume transactions, ideally in a high-tech environment.
- Demonstrable successes in negotiations with international partners, with experience in training courses on negotiation methods a plus.
- Full professional proficiency in German and English, with a strong network in the negotiation environment.
