Position Overview

The Senior HR Business Partner plays a crucial role in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives. This position is essential for fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring that the organization attracts and retains top talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute talent management strategies that align with the overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance recruitment efforts, working closely with the Talent Acquisition team to create effective strategies for sourcing and attracting high-caliber candidates.
  • Partner with marketing and talent acquisition teams to strengthen the employer brand, engaging with educational institutions and organizations to widen the candidate pool.
  • Lead initiatives to cultivate an organizational culture that reflects the company's mission and core values.
  • Provide coaching and support to business leaders in managing talent and performance programs, including employee engagement and performance reviews.
  • Evaluate employee capabilities and assist in the development process, ensuring management understands employee needs and motivations.
  • Engage with employees at all levels, offering guidance on a variety of workplace issues.
  • Analyze and report on HR program outcomes, utilizing data to inform decision-making.
  • Offer expertise in employee relations, managing investigations and resolving issues as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with regional regulations, educating management on potential concerns and overseeing audits.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring they are prioritized within the organization.
  • Streamline HR processes and policies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate organizational change through effective communication and strategic advice.
  • Participate actively in management meetings to contribute to strategic planning and reviews.
  • Drive the HR strategy for the organization.
  • Engage in regional and global HR projects as required.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence to drive improvements across various HR functions.
  • Lead a team of HR professionals to achieve these objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Human Resources management, particularly in leadership roles supporting senior executives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrixed organization.
  • Proven track record in managing HR projects and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of the financial impact of HR initiatives.
  • Knowledge of regional employment laws and experience in diverse business environments.
  • Proficiency in business analysis to generate relevant reporting.
  • Commitment to fairness and integrity in HR practices.
  • Experience with M&A activities is a plus.
  • Strong focus on business strategy and partnership with management.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
