We are currently looking for a Project Quality and Safety Manager Signaltechnik (m/w/d) for our Hamburg location.

Your Role at Alstom

Increasing capacities, efficiency, and reliability play a crucial role in public transportation, especially in metropolitan regions like Hamburg. Our Digital & Integrated Systems (D&IS) department provides answers to global mobility challenges in passenger and freight transport through digitalization and modern signaling systems like CBTC (Communications-Based Train Control). In this role, you will report to Marko Schoppe and work in a motivated and engaged team.

Your Responsibilities
  • As a Project Quality and Safety Manager (m/w/d), you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of our projects.
  • You will create and implement project quality plans and work closely with various departments (Engineering, Industrial, and Supplier Quality) to contribute to project safety and quality.
  • Your tasks will include evaluating part system criticality, coordinating inspection activities, and supporting project audits.
Your Profile

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Extensive experience in quality management, particularly in complex signal technology projects.
  • Competence in using quality and problem-solving tools.
  • Understanding of project processes and products.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Experience in project, change, and configuration management.
  • Fluent German and English skills.
  • Willingness to work at least 3 days a week in Hamburg.
