Responsibilities

The HR department is responsible for all matters related to personnel management, from the initiation to the conclusion of employment relationships, as well as all legal matters concerning the foundation. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the Employee Lifecycle process, from job postings and hiring to coordination with payroll and employee exit
  • Providing support and guidance to assigned employees and their supervisors on all personnel-related inquiries
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the qualifications for the higher administrative service, demonstrated by qualifications such as:

  • Administrative Examination II
  • Degree in Public Administration
  • Alternatively, relevant vocational training with further qualification as an HR Specialist
Required Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of collective bargaining agreements (TV-L) and labor law
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Professional demeanor with a strong service orientation, motivation, resilience, and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with personnel administration for academic staff at universities, English language skills, and experience with SAP-HR are advantageous
