About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biological Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Bayer. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting microbiological tests on raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological tests on raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products
• Apply modern microbiological and microscopic analytical techniques, including data evaluation and computer-aided presentation of results
• Be responsible for the performance and evaluation of investigations in the context of air particle and environmental monitoring in production and laboratory areas
• Be responsible for the validation of microbiological detection methods
• Be involved in the production and validation of nutrient media
• Work with computer-aided systems

Requirements

• Hold a completed education as a Biological Laboratory Specialist or equivalent qualification with specialization in Microbiology
• Bring a secure handling in a GxP-regulated environment
• Have theoretical and practical knowledge of microbiological analytical procedures with a focus on bacteriology and mycology
• Have experience in cultivating microorganisms, handling classical biochemical and modern identification methods
• Have experience in the production and validation of nutrient media
• Have secure and sterile work in a germ-free environment
• Bring knowledge and experience of microbiological procedures for environmental monitoring
• Have very good German language skills in word and writing
