About the Role

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Quality and Technical Support Manager to join our team in Travemünde, Germany. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and technical support across our factories and cultures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of quality strategies and policies to enhance a customer-focused zero-failure culture.
  • Manage a diverse and experienced team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement quality improvements, eliminating recurring product defects and process shortcomings.
  • Ensure compliance with control plans through statistical process control and capability.
  • Establish and support generator manufacturing in a lean production equipment setup.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business with experience in engineering/production.
  • Several years of work experience in quality/engineering environment.
  • Skilled in product verification/validation.
  • Good understanding of quality tools (e.g. Six Sigma Green Belt).
  • Auditor knowledge is an advantage.
  • Very good knowledge in MS-Office, including presentations.
