About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at GULP – experts united. As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Linux servers and clients in a VMware environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of Linux servers and clients (RHEL) in VMware environments, including the development of strategies for monitoring, logging, updates, patches, changes, and backups.
  • Planning and coordination of user and rights management and network security.
  • Management and administration of database servers such as MSSQL, SAP Sybase ASE, and PostgreSQL.
  • Carrying out market analyses for IT products within the infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or similar.
  • Experience in the administration of Linux and Windows servers.
  • Good knowledge in the administration of common RDBMS.
  • Familiar with ITIL and BSI standards.
  • Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, and Kerberos.
  • Fluent in written and spoken German (min. C1) and English.

What We Offer

  • Remuneration according to TV-L Berlin, incl. annual bonus and 30 days vacation.
  • 38.5 hours/week (full-time), flexible working hours and part-time models.
  • Up to 2 days of mobile working per week (after the probationary period).
  • Card (50 € per month) for regional purchases.
