Cloud Specialist (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a 30-member team dedicated to software development and operational tasks for energy trading in an agile framework with cross-functional teams.
  • Design and maintain a cloud-based trading IT framework as part of a DevOps group, enabling the analysis and refinement of external market data and forecasts, assisting our analysts in model development and execution, and establishing conditions for automated trading in energy markets.
  • Prioritize the automation of IT workflows (including code pipelines, back-testing, security assessments, etc.) alongside the implementation of new functionalities.
  • Experience a varied role with adaptable working hours and locations as part of a remote team.

Your Qualifications:

  • Possess a degree in computer science (Bachelor/Master) or an equivalent qualification, or have relevant practical experience as a software developer.
  • Demonstrated experience in professional cloud software management.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively in agile teams adhering to BizDevSecOps principles.
  • Proficient in contemporary technology stacks (e.g., Python / Node / Java).
  • Familiarity with orchestrating components of leading cloud providers through Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Knowledgeable in containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong dedication to producing high-quality software and sharing expertise with the team.
  • Willingness to manage deployments during unconventional hours and participate in on-call responsibilities.
  • Creative and analytical mindset with a keen interest in emerging technologies and trends in the energy sector.
  • Eager to stay informed, explore new ideas, and enhance both personal and team growth.
