Are you enthusiastic about:

  • Financial Merchandise Strategy: Developing comprehensive plans for product categories and StockFlow Management.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assessing historical sales trends and customer insights.
  • Product Range Strategy: Delivering strategic information to assist buyers in curating the product assortment.
  • Budget Management: Establishing purchasing limits (pre-order and in-season Open-to-Buy).
  • Assortment Oversight: Tracking sales performance and pricing, and executing optimization strategies.
  • Inventory Management: Reviewing goods receipts and forecasting inventory levels.
  • Bestseller Strategy: Recognizing and replenishing top-selling items, and guiding buyers.
  • Pricing Strategy: Overseeing in-season pricing and promotional discounts in collaboration with Online Marketing.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Working closely with Category Buyers, Online Marketing, and Marketplace Managers.
  • Data Utilization: Leveraging insights from the Data Insights Team.

What We Value:

  • Educational Background: Completed commercial training or degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in:
    - Category Management within Merchandise Planning
    - Category Management in an E-Commerce setting
    - Controlling, ideally in the fashion or sports sector
  • Industry Expertise: Background in retail, e-commerce, and customer service with a keen interest in the sports industry.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven mindset, skilled in Excel and BI tools.
  • Practical Knowledge: Familiarity with Merchandising Planning Tools and PLM/Product Management Software.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both German and English.
  • Personal Attributes: Customer-focused approach (end consumer, INTERSPORT retailers), excellent teamwork and communication skills, decisiveness, and the ability to persuade through precise analyses and insights.
