Job Title: Automotive Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Project Manager to join our team at AUTO1 Group. As a key member of our Group Inventory Management Team, you will be responsible for steering a variety of projects, managing processes, and providing insightful analysis on inventory for all European markets in our AUTO1 Group Operations Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct critical reviews of existing processes, strategies, and outcomes to identify profitability drivers and implement strategies to enhance inventory turnover.
  • Develop systems to identify and mitigate inventory risks effectively.
  • Coordinate the implementation of new tools, reports, or workflows, and oversee activities related to retail inventory strategy.
  • Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to design, establish, and monitor new processes and strategies.
  • Support the growth of new projects and processes by performing day-to-day analytical and project-oriented tasks.
  • Leverage our data to develop strategies to perform market price reality checks for vehicle price advertisements.
  • Monitor the documentation of market positioning of our vehicles based on their characteristics and pricing.
  • Take over the independent research of relevant information on vehicle types to ensure a correct market comparison.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree and first practical work experience in consulting, business development, business analytics, project management, finance, or e-commerce.
  • Technical and/or commercial knowledge in the automotive sector, combined with a strong passion for cars and a keen interest in e-commerce.
  • Previous experience in evaluating, buying/selling, or trade-in cars is a plus.
  • Ability to manage priorities, stakeholders, and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Very good knowledge of common Office applications (specifically Excel) and Google Sheets are mandatory, SQL skills would be a strong plus.
  • Excellent English language skills, any other European language skills are welcome.
