H2 Tank Development Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled H2 Tank Development Engineer to join our team at ADECCO. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-pressure hydrogen storage tanks for automotive applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement design concepts for large-volume Type 4 pressure tanks for hydrogen storage in automotive applications.
- Translate design concepts into CAD models using CATIA or NX.
- Create detailed specifications and article numbers in SAP.
- Produce 2D drawings for procurement and certification purposes.
- Collaborate with system development engineers to integrate gas-filled H2 tanks into the tank rack storage system.
- Lead and manage assigned design tasks, ensuring timely completion in accordance with project milestones.
- Contribute to the development of H2 tank technology in collaboration with product, process, and industrialization specialists.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the automotive industry, with a strong background in CAD design and development of H2 pressure tanks and gas-filled components.
- Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in interacting with suppliers and other stakeholders in the automotive sector.
- Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
