Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled and knowledgeable Senior IT Administrator to enhance our organization. The perfect candidate will have a robust technical foundation and a comprehensive grasp of contemporary IT frameworks and technologies. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and supervising the technological infrastructure within our media-focused production environment driven by CGI and AI.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Oversight: Manage and maintain the company's IT systems, ensuring peak performance and security. This encompasses workstations, servers, network devices, and software applications. Technical Support: Deliver high-level technical assistance for all hardware and software challenges. This includes troubleshooting, system repairs, and routine preventative maintenance. Project Leadership: Spearhead IT initiatives, including system upgrades, migrations, and new installations. Ensure that projects are executed on schedule and within budget constraints. Security Oversight: Formulate and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard the company's data and IT systems. Regularly perform security audits and implement corrective actions as needed. Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to guarantee the acquisition of high-quality IT equipment and services. Policy Formulation: Create and implement IT policies and best practices for the organization. Team Development: Mentor and support junior IT staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work atmosphere. Disaster Recovery Strategy: Develop and manage disaster recovery plans and backups to ensure data protection and business continuity.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT administration, preferably with a focus on CGI and AI-driven production environments. Strong comprehension of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and data storage solutions. Experience with CGI & AI hardware and software platforms, cloud services, and technologies. Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Proven leadership abilities and capacity to manage a team effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities. Strong user management skills and a genuine enthusiasm for teamwork.
