Product Manager - Passive Components

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at Panasonic Automotive Systems Europe. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing product development and innovation for passive components, specifically inductors, for Tier 1/distribution channel customers across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product strategies for Europe, including demand creation, specific design-ins, market research, and technical trend analysis.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop and innovate products, ensuring alignment with their needs and expectations.
  • Interface with our headquarters/factories in Japan and account managers in Europe to ensure strategic decision-making and effective communication.
  • Support sales functions during customer meetings and the acquisition of design-ins.
  • Provide daily support for technical and commercial inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Academic degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification.
  • Experience in electronics, preferably on component and/or application level.
  • Background in technical product marketing, technical sales, or similar position.
  • Preferably experience in the automotive and/or distribution market.
  • Positive work attitude, commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and team spirit.
  • Proactive learning attitude regarding products and processes.
  • Fluent in English, conversational in German.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Driver's license required.
