Job Title: Test Automation Engineer

Are you passionate about automotive software and testing? Do you have a knack for developing automated tests and analyzing results? We're looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team at PIXIDA in Ingolstadt, Germany.

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute automated tests for automotive software, ensuring high-quality results and efficient testing processes.
  • Develop and maintain test cases in an automated framework, collaborating with software developers and other test departments.
  • Develop and optimize test setups, including test benches and development vehicles, to ensure accurate and reliable testing.
  • Automate script development and optimize existing scripts to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and test specifications, ensuring clear and concise communication with stakeholders.
  • Report test progress and results based on defined test strategies, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Collaborate with module owners, software developers, and other test departments to achieve testing goals and maximize test coverage.
Requirements
  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent working experience in the field of computer science/automation.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
  • Experience as a Test or Test Automation Engineer, preferably in the automotive environment at leading OEMs.
  • Azure DevOps knowledge or similar.
  • Knowledge of test methodologies and norms, such as ISTQB Certified Tester.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
