About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Portfolio Manager to join our team at Q CELLS. As a key member of our energy trading team, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and monitoring our energy portfolio across various time horizons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Energy Portfolio Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimize our energy portfolio, ensuring maximum returns while minimizing risks.
  • Trade Execution: Execute trades in accordance with our Risk Management Framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Procurement: Procure electricity, gas, guarantees of origin, and emission certificates for our end customers, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our energy trading services.
  • Portfolio Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize our energy portfolio, ensuring maximum returns while minimizing risks.
  • Operational Management: Manage our energy trading operations, including scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in economics, natural sciences, engineering, or finance.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in energy management, trading, and origination.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office, Python, and Visual Basic.
  • Language: Fluent in German and English.
