Job Title: ST Continuous Quantitative Trader

We are seeking a highly skilled ST Continuous Quantitative Trader to join our team at Uniper.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering front office performance and operational excellence in the field of quantitative algorithmic trading and continuous power asset portfolio re-optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate as a team member of the Continuous Quantitative Trading desk with 24/7 operations
  • Maintain responsibilities for the daily delivery of a solid and compliant commercial performance across Uniper European markets
  • Ensure smooth operational coordination with the other Short-term trading desks and European Dispatching centers
  • Project role in developing and continuously improving the Power physical quantitative trading at Uniper
Requirements
  • Experience in trading functions, especially around Intraday asset-backed or prop physical trading
  • Experience of Algorithmic trading and Renewables, flexible asset optimization
  • Understanding of short-term market channels
  • Understanding of Compliance and Regulatory rules
