Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct microbiological testing on food and beverages to ensure quality and safety.
  • Prepare agar plates, conduct colony counts, and assess results to identify potential contaminants.
  • Perform bacterial identification using advanced technologies such as Real-Time PCR to ensure accurate results.
  • Utilize biochemical and molecular methods for identification purposes to provide comprehensive analysis.

Qualifications

  • Completed training as a Biologielaborant*in or equivalent, with a strong foundation in microbiology and laboratory techniques.
  • Prior experience in related tasks, such as laboratory testing and analysis, is preferred.
  • Meticulous handling of samples and reagents is essential to ensure accurate results.
  • Proficiency in German (B2 level) and English is required to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
