Laboratory Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at GULP – experts united. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tasks, including sample collection, test execution, and equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare analytical samples for testing
- Plan and execute tests, prioritizing tasks in coordination with the SMA
- Operate analytical systems and equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results
- Conduct laboratory cleaning and maintenance tasks, including glassware and solvent waste disposal
- Prepare reagents and media, and control test documentation according to GMP principles
- Maintain and calibrate measuring devices, and perform device tests and functional tests
- Coordinate with adjacent laboratory areas on ongoing test orders
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a CTA, chemical laboratory technician, or comparable training
- Several years of professional experience in a laboratory setting
- Sound experience with HPLC analysis and IT knowledge of standard and special software
- Very good knowledge of German, with good knowledge of English desirable
- Willingness to work 2 shifts and good organizational skills
- Structured, independent, and results-oriented work approach
