Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supporting our veterinarians, and contributing to the smooth operation of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Receive and document symptoms of our patients, assist and advise pet owners, and support examinations, surgeries, and care of our hospitalized animals.
- Administrative Tasks: Independently perform X-rays, surgery preparations, dental treatments, and lab tests, as well as handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling payments.
- Completed training as a veterinary assistant or related medical field with experience in animal medicine.
- Fluent in German.
- Proficient computer skills, knowledge of easyVET is a plus but not required.
- Friendly and empathetic towards animals and people.
- Able to stay calm and organized, especially during emergency situations.
- Responsible, accurate, and willing to take on ad-hoc tasks.
