Cybersecurity Strategist

Welcome to Covestro, a leading materials science company. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Strategist to join our IT Security team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting and implementing IT security principles across our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice on security-related matters to cloud engineering teams
• Evaluate, plan, and design new Azure Cloud functions to ensure robust security
• Standardize security solutions and conduct regular architecture reviews to maintain a secure environment
• Prototype new security configurations to stay ahead of emerging threats
• Facilitate knowledge transfer between the cloud platform and the IT security team to ensure seamless collaboration

Requirements:

• University degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or information technology
• Professional experience in IT consultancy or digital transformation, with a focus on cybersecurity
• Relevant certifications in the field of IT security, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP
• Strong understanding of MSFT Azure cloud architectures and security best practices
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
