Role Responsibilities
Engage in hands-on development using Python within a dynamic team of software engineers and quantitative developers, spearheading transformative advancements in the financial sector. Participate in cutting-edge technology projects and immerse yourself in modern software development methodologies, including agile practices, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, and cloud-based infrastructure. Oversee the creation of high-performance risk management tools designed for regulatory compliance, along with near-real-time interactive dashboards and alert systems that monitor risk exposure across numerous positions. Innovate the next generation of wealth management and brokerage services accessible to all. Contribute to and develop data-driven strategies aimed at enhancing business value. Gain exposure to trading algorithms that autonomously manage substantial assets and execute over one million trading decisions within a brief timeframe. Ensure that none of the aforementioned tasks are executed using spreadsheet tools. Provide support to investment managers, trading, backend operations, wealth management, and risk assessment.Candidate Qualifications
As a member of our Financial Engineering Team, you should possess:
A strong academic foundation in a quantitative field such as financial mathematics, computational finance, statistics, or a related discipline. Proficient knowledge of Python programming. Familiarity with version control systems, software development practices, and software design principles. Availability for a minimum of 3 months for an internship or 6 months as a working student. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Exceptional communication skills, characterized by clarity, conciseness, and a focus on the target audience, whether engineering, product, or other stakeholders.Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Understanding of econometrics, portfolio optimization, and risk modeling.
