Our team is actively involved in significant projects, such as evaluating national funding programs for electric vehicles and providing policy recommendations to enhance intermodal mobility and the future of the EU Emissions Trading System.
Your Responsibilities- Evidence-based advisory services for public sector entities in the realms of environmental, energy, and climate policy.
- Support for national and European decision-makers in the development, assessment, and implementation of policy measures related to energy and climate, emissions trading systems, sustainable mobility, renewable energy, and sustainable finance.
- Project management and leadership, including the creation of tailored reports and presentations based on independent conceptual and empirical work.
- Project acquisition through the design and preparation of proposals, as well as networking with partners and relevant stakeholders.
- Cross-location collaboration within the international Green Economy team of the Technopolis Group.
- Optional involvement in projects at the intersection of Green Economy and Data Science, depending on interest and relevant expertise.
- A completed degree in a relevant field, with robust empirical methodology skills.
- A minimum of four years of professional experience in advising public clients on environmental, energy, and climate policy, ideally including project management and business development experience.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, independence, and an analytical, reliable work approach. Willingness to undertake occasional (including international) business trips.
- Excellent proficiency in both German and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with potential knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis software (especially R or Stata, but also Python, Atlas.TI, etc.).
